Wow, Its been a cruel Summer!!

I feel bad I haven't posted in so long. It is 11:23 and my husband still isn't home from work. Sometimes I really hate his job, but I am grateful for it too. I should be watching the Olympics, but instead I'm here reading blogs including my own. I feel bad I left last time on such a sad note and have not updated since then. The spring was bad for me. After Danny died I got into a funk that would not end, but I got through to the other side. Maybe summertime helped. I need the Sun!! The kids got out of school for their summer break at the end of May and we had a nice time together, however we are way too poor to anything too cool, but we have a swimming pool here at the house (a community pool) and have gotten to use that quite a bit, it has been very nice. We got to go to Lagoon with Uncle Ray for his work day (he had free tickets, thank you to Marketstar!!!) We went to the Zoo a couple of times, went bowling for Aunties Birthday...( I think I even have pics of that). We went to the Farmington Parade with Auntie and Aunt Sylvie...it is the best one, I couldn't believe the candy, bags full. We've spent most of the summer working on the yard. What a nightmare, but it is almost done. The front looks really good, it will look even better this fall when hopefully we can get some trees and shrubs planted. I'll try to get some pics posted. Doing that (the yard) combined with not having my car crash settlement come in yet, combined with not selling the other house yet has us in debt up to our eyeballs so I decided I'd better try to find some more work to help things out and hopefully start helping get things paid for. I was struggling to decide to try to work full time again or find something part time so I was looking everywhere and figured the lord would lead me to the right place as long as I do my part, like he always does. And again, he helped me. I don't know why I deserve such love, but that is another story. I found a job working as a glorified Secretary/PR/Advertising person for a non-profit organization called ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects). The pay is okay for a part time gig (16-20 hrs per week) and I do it all from home with a few meetings here or there. It is the perfect thing for my life right now. Just enough money to help us out and I can still mostly be home with the kids. I can work around Chris's schedule and Auntie has been great to help out. My mom was with us for a few weeks in July too. That helped with not having to drag Tay around so much with her bad Ankle. Although Steph just started 3rd Grade and Tay's in 1st Grade so they are gone all day. That is crazy, but nice too. I just have the Zach man here with me and he is so good. I can usually get quite a bit of work done and he just hangs out with me. It is so weird to think the girls are getting so old. I remember 3rd grade pretty well and now my daughter is there. I had such a crush on Eric Cline both 3rd and 4th grade. I think he likes boys now.....but that is another story. Oh yeah, and Taysia broke her Ankle right after the 4th of July ( I think the 7th). She was climbing the bars that surround the Trampoline enclosure and I'm not sure if she jumped from the top of the bar or fell, but either way, she landed wrong on her Ankle and broke it in two places right in her growth plate. Poor kid. She had a boot and then a cast for 4 weeks and couldn't put any weight on it at all, so she was on crutches and in a wheel chair at school for the first 2 and 1/2 weeks (they go to year round school and started on July 21st). She got really good on those crutches the little muffin. Now she has the boot back and can walk on it. She has to wear the boot till Sept 3rd then she should be good to go. The doc said she can take the boot off to sleep, shower and swim and that has been nice to let her go back and enjoy the pool a bit more before Fall comes. I don't think she'll be going near the trampoline anytime soon again.

Over all it has been a nice summer but I am excited for fall too. I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner...AHHH I'm not ready. I am very excited for Football season to start though. GO UTES AND GO STEELERS!!! I've gotten to see some of my closest girl friends the last couple of weeks. Shauna now lives up in Washington came down to visit and help move her Grandparents. We got together at Jen's house and they are still crazy as ever, but I love them. Its nice being around them, I get to take a vacation from the grown-up, responsible me for just a bit while I am with them and that is nice. Not only to have the break but to realize why I don't live that way anymore. I like this me, this life much better although sometimes it gets heavy, it is worth it in the long run. Endure to the end, right. I got to see my friend Julie tonight. She is in town from Boston. I so love her. We went to see Mama Mia (2nd time for me) I love that show. It reminds me a bit of my life although I didn't have a baby during my ... times. Luckily, I met my husband and had my babies with him, the best Daddy and Husband ever ...

Speaking of ... I'd better log off for now, he just got home and I should go give him some loves. I'll try to be better about writing and posting more pics. Talk to you all soon.
