Christmas Family Night
I took some pictures of the kids in their Christmas outfits this morning before church. Darn they are cute, but getting Tay to smile sometimes is harder then it should be...she is so beautiful, but not a natural smiler like her brother and sis, but when she does flash you a true smile, it will melt ice.
We went to dinner and to see the temple lights last night with all of Chris's family. Olive Garden for 13 (a nephew of sylvie's and his new wife joined us) It was very nice but took forever. We didn't leave the restaurant till and head over to the temple till 8pm. It was cold but beautiful. However, not as many lights this year as I remember in years past...maybe they are trying to "go green" and conserve. Seeing the lights each year is one of my most favorite things, but I don't think my kids really care one way or the other, as long as they get hot chocolate at some point they are good. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be which was also nice. I can't believe the year is almost over and Christmas is 1 week away...time flies. I'm not ready for it to be over yet, it goes by too fast. The kids are so excited and it will be over too quick. Here's some pics of our trip.
PS. Tay told me this morning as I was combing her hair for school that she was going to marry a Ute football player and have or "give out" as she put it, two baby girls and a baby boy for her husband so he wouldn't be sad. I think that sound like a great plan, although I hope her Ute football player husband goes on to play for the Steelers, then that would be perfect. :)
